With an area of around 8,000 m² and a capacity of 1.74 MWp, one of the largest rooftop PV systems in western Austria is being built at our Roppen site. It is expected to cover around 25% of the site’s electricity demand with self-generated power.
The implementation of an energy management system and investment in new technologies in production and infrastructure are important steps toward achieving CO₂-neutral manufacturing.
Many thanks to ehoch2 – energy engineering for their support in planning and to PVO – Photovoltaik Ortner for the execution and installation of the PV system.
DATA AND FACTS:
8000m² area
